8. Positive psychology is the study of the “good life,” or the positive aspects of the human experience that make life worth living.
Maslow was a father of Humanistic Psychology and Transpersonal Psychology. He referred to his work as Positive Psychology. (See Abraham Maslow, Wikipedia)
Martin Seligman was inspired by Maslow to create Positive Psychology in 1998.
Positive Psychology is now also used in Life Coaching.
The Hierarchy of Needs is a fundamental principle of Life Coaching.
